
Sarah has over 20 years of experience teaching kids and adults of all ages in private, public and homeschool settings. Sarah has Bachelor’s degrees from Westmont College and a graduate degree from Pepperdine University. She has been the recipient of local and national awards for excellence in teaching and mentoring students. She is bilingual in Spanish and has a professional background working in multicultural education and with students with special needs. She is a mom of four kids who loves a good flea market and hot yoga. She opened Glitter Barn because she believes passionately in the power of creativity to transform lives and communities.

Holly is a local artist and mama who loves to inspire artistic expression in others. Her creative passions include jewelry making, leather working, woodworking – and so much more! She has experience teaching kids (and adults) of all ages and has extensive experience creating and implementing amazing personalized events for groups bigs and small. Holly knows how to throw a great party! Holly also has donated many hours to our community as a leader in our local schools where she worked to bring the magic of art to Ventura’s kids!

Benicia brings to Glitter Barn extensive teaching experience with kids of all ages, including in Montessori classrooms. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Westmont College and finds inspiration in fashion and performance art. Benicia is also a mom of two littles and an accomplished local musician with her own band. As an art teacher, she emphasizes creative expression through all mediums. She brings to her teaching a love for both art and music and a passion to empower others to grow as artists, makers and creators.
